The Billionaire Banker
By Georgia Le Carre
Hot, steamy and amazingly captivating
SO from the start of this novel I was sucked in. Georgia writes with an amazing flare and captures incredible details. She is able weave a spell onto the pages of her novel that keep you hooked. The book is written with amazing details that capture your imagination and you can clearly picture the scene in front of you, or feel the emotions coming from the characters. From the start I was struck by the main character Lana. She is young and naïve, dropping herself into a tank of piranhas yet through the story the author kept true to the personality of the character. She also manages to pull your interest into the sub characters as well, and I loved that Lana had a spitfire best friend t gives a new twist to the reading and takes you places that other novels do not. I was impressed with the love scenes because they are hot and steamy and everything that you want without being over the top. DO not get me wrong this is not your typical “pretty woman” story. The only drawback to this story for me is the quick and abrupt ending. While it leaves you hanging waiting for more it is very abrupt and I felt robbed. I am definitely holding my breath for the next installment.
Georgia Le Carre lives in England, in an old 19th century romantic cottage surrounded by a magical garden filled with fruit and walnut trees.
When she is not feeding words into her laptop, she is either curled up in bed with a box of chocolates and a good read, or lost in a long walk in the woods. Especially on moonlit nights. And often with the man of her dreams.
